How to make breeder battery cage

Breeder battery cage is a system used for rearing poultry chicks that is, birds that are from 0 weeks to 4 weeks. Breeder battery cage system provides the birds with healthy living, including their good mental and physical well being. It provides an opportunity for the birds to express themselves freely. The two main differences between breeder battery cage and other cage system is that there is a moveable belt on the floor of the cage that is covered with litter, and secondly the system allows egg that are hatching inside the container, the hatching eggs are suspended in a tray above the belt, and as the chicks’ hatch they drop onto the litter belt below. During depopulation, the belt is used to remove the brooders from the containers directly onto a conveyor for transport. Breeder battery cage is a small metal wire cage of approximately 16” by 18”. The breeder battery cages are commonly arranged back-to-back in three rows of identical small metal wire cages connected together like battery cell.
